About Us

The club was first established by Sensei Jeff Westgarth 7th Dan more than 25 years ago. The club is a proud and active member of the Academy of Shotokan Karate, of which, Sensei Dave Hazard 7th Dan is Chairman.

Training sessions are held on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 18:30 till 20:00 at;

Sessions consist of a blend of Kihon techniques, Kata practice, Traditional and Sport Kumite drills and training so there really is something for everyone. Among the many benefits karate can offer you are;

The training is structured to cater for and improve everyone's abilities from beginner to black belt. Male or female, young or old all are made to feel welcome. New students are enrolled into the class during the first week of every month and so please arrive early enough to receive all relevant information and registration details.
